MS Word Marketing Add-in for R.O. Writer.

This Add-in complements the R.O. Writer Marketing/Follow-up Module nicely by enabling you to print your Service Reminder Letters and Checklist letters on the same Post Card or Letter using MS Word 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2007 rather that using the R.O. Writer Word Processor.

Additionally, after you've declined a labor operation and/or part and then finalized the invoice, you can send a reminder letter to that customer after the number of days you specify.

Declined RepairsFor example, if your customer is in today for service and you find the vehicle needs front brakes, you build an estimate right on the open work order, call him and he declines the repair, you would then click 'Declined' on that labor operation and finalize the invoice.

In addition to the letter reminding him of the Declined repair, you will proactively be reminded of this recommended repair the next time you start an estimate or a work order for this vehicle.

Then, next week (or the week after, when you send out your regular service reminder and checklist letters, using the MS Word Add-in for R.O. Writer, you will also print a letter showing the front brakes that you recommended with an indicator that the job had been declined.

Below is a screen shot of the MS Word Add-in. Note that you can open the letters in Word or send the merged data directly into MS Excel. You can print letters or post cards of any size. Additionally, you can print a list of all the people who received a reminder letter for use later as a call list.

The Add-in will also permits you to send all other types of letters including new customer Thank You letters or marketing letters to any group or sub-group of your customers.
